2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV) "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline."  I. The Source of True Confidence (It's External) The world teaches us that confidence comes from within. The real truth is that Confidence comes from Christ.  Human confidence is fragile; it rises and falls with success and failure. Spiritual confidence, or assurance, is unshakeable because it rests on the finished work of Jesus. Key Bible Verses: Ephesians 3:12 (NIV):"In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence."  Point: Our confidence is a direct result of being in Christ. We have access to God—the most powerful being in the universe—without fear, because Jesus made the way. Philippians 1:6 (NIV):"being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV):"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."  Point:   When we acknowledge our limits, we create room for God's limitless power (boldness) to take over. "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me."   II. The Nature of Godly Boldness (It Conquers Fear) Boldness is not the absence of fear; it is action in the presence of fear, compelled by the Holy Spirit.  What a believer should always watch out for is holy, righteous boldness. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV): (The anchor verse)"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline."  Point:  This verse gives us the antidote to a "spirit of fear" (timidity).

We are equipped with power (ability), love (motive), and self-discipline (sound mind/clarity). Boldness is acting with power and love, not panic.

"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline."

(Proverbs 28:1 IV)" The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Point:

Where does this lion-like boldness come from? Righteousness. When we are living rightly, forgiven by God, and walking with Him, we lose our fear of exposure or judgment. The righteous stand firm.

"The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion."

Acts 4:29-31 (NIV): (The apostles’ prayer for boldness)"...Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness... After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly."

Point:

True boldness is prayed for and Spirit-fueled. When the apostles faced real danger and persecution, they didn't ask God to remove the threats; they asked for more boldness to speak the word.

God answered by filling them with the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER.

Lord, consider my threats and enable me to speak your word with great boldness in Jesus' Name… Amen.

III.
Where does God want us to practice this Spirit-given confidence and boldness?

A. Boldness in Prayer:

Hebrews 4:16 (NIV):" Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

Our confidence is to be directed toward God! We don't have to whisper timidly. We can approach the Creator of the universe boldly, knowing we are accepted because of Jesus. This transforms our prayer life from hesitant asking to confident, faith-filled declaration.

B. Boldness in Testimony/Witness:

Ephesians 6:19-20 (NIV):"Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."

The Apostle Paul, in chains, still prayed for the boldness to speak the Gospel. Our calling is to be His ambassadors. We need boldness to share our faith with coworkers, family, and neighbors without shame or apology.

C. Boldness in Perseverance:

Hebrews 10:35-36 (NIV):"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

Confidence is not just for grand, public moments; it is for the long, hard marathon of faith. Don't throw away the confidence you have in Christ when times get tough. God rewards the endurance that comes from a confident, unwavering trust in His promises.

"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."

In Conclusion: Living Like the Lion's Cubs
True Christian boldness and confidence are not arrogance; they are the calm assurance of a person who knows who they are in Christ and who their God is.
If you are struggling with fear, anxiety, or timidity this week, remember the promise: God has given you the Spirit of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind.

Hannah who is Samuel's mother so the section started with Anna praying to God for a child and then after that we talk about the birth of Samuel and how God bless Hannah with other children five children inclusive and then we talked about Hannah herself no Samuel himself like you know Samuel is Anointed from the early age because his mother dedicated him to the Lord God and Hannah and somewhere lived with Prophet Eli okay from his childhood so someone's fate and call to service so last week we discussed about Samuel he's calling by God and the painful separation of a mother and a child also we focus on Ally and his two sons and the failure of Eli not raising his his sons properly

so today we will discuss about Prophet Samuel as he rule over Israel as judge because there was no King. Everybody does whatever pleases them.

Chapter 8 of 1st Samuel

When Samuel was old, he appointed his sons as judges over all Israel. The names of his firstborn and second son were Joel and Abiel, respectively. they were judges in Beerthsheba and his son's walked not in his way but they turn aside after lucre and took bribe and perverted Justice and because of this all Elders of Israel gather themselves together and come to Samuel, behold thou art old and your sons walk not in thy way,  now make us a king to judge us like every other Nation; in other words they were displeased with the lifestyle of Samuel’s children even though Samuel himself was a Godly Man who was anointed, you know he was doing all good things but there was no time for him to focus on his children and they turn out to be bad. This was what happened to him, and just like Eli also allowed his children to misbehave, and because of that they were both killed, you know, in the battle of the Philistines, and Eli himself died so also the children of Israel rejected Samuel.

First Samuel chapter 9, God told Samuel to go out and look for a man of Benjamin whose name was Kish the son of Abiel the son of zero the son of a benjamite in mighty man of power and, he had his son whose name was Saul a choice young man and a goodly and, there was not among the children of Israel a Godly a person than him from his shoulder and, upward he was higher than any of the people now take one of the servant with thee and arise and go to with asses.

Psalm 145:14. Let all the flesh bless the name of the LORD.

TOPIC: I AM THE GOD OF ALL FLESH.

TEXT: Jeremiah 32 vs 27 and Genesis 18 vs 14.

Anytime God introduces Himself, it means that there is a matter He wants to address.

It means there is a solution for your situation. It also means that God has remembered you to fight your battle.

1.  The word flesh means all that is natural, earthly, and human.

2. The God of all flesh is the God of impossibilities. {mark 10:27} which says ‘’With me it is impossible but not with God; for with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

3. The God of all flesh is the God of Peace.

4. The God of all flesh is the God who is always ready to show us great and mighty things. {Jeremiah 33:3}

5. Psalm 62:11 says ‘’Once has He spoken, twice have we had, that all power belongs to God.

6. The God of all flesh is the God of abundance.  John 10:10, Ephesians 3:20 {Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think}. Again, notify us of the one who said, I am the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me to do?

Our lives are in His Hands. Job 12:10 says, In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

David said in Psalm 73 vs 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.

Maybe you are tired of the serious problems in your life. It could be that you’ve already conceived in your heart that I will stop coming to church; after all, with all my prayers, God has not answered me, and it seems He has forgotten about me.

Brothers and sisters, God has not forgotten you.

Isaiah 49:15 and 16 says; ‘’Can a woman forget her sucking child, and have no compassion on the child she had born? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have gravened thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Proverbs 21:1 tells me that the king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water, He turn it whithersoever He will.

In Romans 8:18, Paul said, for I consider that the suffering of these recent times is not worth comparing with the Glory that will be revealed in us.

Quickly: Eight things to do when you are facing challenges.

1.  You must believe and trust completely in the God of all flesh. Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart.

2. You must acknowledge him always. Same Proverb 3:6. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

3. Seek him in prayers. Luke 18:1b says ‘’ Men ought to pray and not to faint.

4. Praise Him give Him thanks always. 1 Thessalonian 5:18. In everything, give thanks: for this is the will of God concerning you.

5. Fear not. Matthew 10:28 says: And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

6. Have faith in God of all flesh. Hebrews 11:11 describes the faith that Sarah had to be able to conceive, and Romans 1:17 says that for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith. {the just will live by faith}

7. You must dwell in the word of God cos the bible says in

Luke 4:4, that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.

8. You must keep doing good and showing Kindness to others. Gen 18:2-8

9. Lastly, let His will be done in your life, not your will.

Luke 22:42, ‘’Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

In conclusion, in Luke 5, Peter, the Apostle, said to Jesus, We have toiled all night, but we caught nothing, and Jesus said to him, Let down the nets.

Almighty God wants to do something new in your life tonight.

All he is asking you is to lay down your sinful life for your new beginning.

1 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

All that He is asking you for is for you to surrender all to him, and he will carry you over. Let's rise.
